Has it become a pain in the ass to make money online?

Just depends on what your selling/promoting. I'm sure if all you do are the high paying scammy stuff that all deal with rebills you are hitting a ceiling right now.
By the end of the day though, I will (no matter how slow) sell a few physical products that took zero effort and cost nothing more than hosting and domain registrations.
Don't put all your eggs in a single basket - especially when that basket you know is filled with poopoo. (rebills, fat loss, etc...)

Any time I start thinking that what I do now is difficult, I remember what it was like digging ditches in 120F weather. That shuts down any negative thinking right quick.
How else can you explain Norway's economy growing during the global financial meltdown?

Making money online is difficult than making money offline, that is why I have returned to 9-5 job, where I at least get enough to pay the bills. As every one and his dog want to make money online, it will keep getting harder and harder with every passing day.
in the time you took to type that, I bet 1/2 of this forum has made more money than you make all day at your job.

In my neck of the woods, when chicks read quotes by Einstein, Hoffer and Schopenhauer in the same sentence we develop a strange sort of Turret's syndrome which makes us randomly blurt out stuff like "want an olive in your martini dear?", "do you want one ice cube or two?" and "how do you like your shirts ironed?" all at once...
