Have you ever astral projected, had an oobe, or experienced anything "paranormal" ?

Yep title sums up the question... Have you ever had an oobe or seen a ghost or spirit...???

I've had 4 oobe or astral projections. Today was my 4th in like 5 years. I took a nap earlier and ended up projecting. It's such a mindfuck not to mention an insanely awesome experience.

No, but 3 times in my life (that I can remember) I had a lucid dream. All three of them were of me nailing/about to nail some hot chick. Always woke up before finishing :(

God bless my awkward social graces which have left me with no female friends.

How do you know it wasnt a dream

i dont...and im not saying one way or the other. Whether it's a hallucination or the 'soul' actually leaving the body i can't say. all i know is it's fucking crazy to feel yourself exist "outside the body".

A good percentage of the time when I take a cat nap in the middle of the day, I'll lucid dream.. probably have had like 10-15 of them. It's definitely an interesting experience being conscious in your dreams and control of what happens.

One time it was so fucking weird, I was having a lucid dream inside another dream, lol.. I went to sleep (a cat nap), then it went lucid, except I thought I actually fucking woke up.. But it was weird and fucked up, which I knew.. so it was a cycle of falling asleep and waking up several times (but I didn't wake up at all in reality). weird shit.

I thought astral projection and OBE stuff was normal untill i started talking to my friends. My parents had always encouraged it and showed us the basics as kids. But like I said it wasn't untill I started to talk to other kids that i found out that not everyone could do it when they wanted too.

From there I went on learn about how it all ties in with mysticism and other esoteric spirituality; Druidism, shamanism, paganism etc.

Its kind of fun when you jump through different dimensions, but i really love the introspective aspect.

Traveling within to explore facets of your own soul. Your separation from source, your journey through different bodies until you found this planet. Now that is some seriously cool shit.

If anyone wants to skype about this hit me up for sure. mr_cooelrer

back in high school, i came home from school and took a nap on the couch in the living room. At some point I "woke up" but couldnt move a muscle. I could see the room in front of me, and i was awake yet somehow I knew i was still asleep. I tried to get up but couldnt move, was completely paralyzed. After a couple minutes I swear to god I jumped up out of my body and flew around the room for about 5 seconds, was staring out the window, at the ceiling, tried touching the wall and it felt like wet cardboard... then i got the balls to turn around and look at my body (asleep on the couch). the second I saw myself, I freaked the fuck out, and "whipped back" into my body... my eyes were closed and i woke up. when i was awake my entire body was vibrating, thats the only way i could explain it. For all I know it couldve been a dream but it was really crazy. Only told a few people about the experience. I swear I'm not crazy... it's very possible I couldve just been dreaming but damn it seemed pretty real.

The closest thing I've experienced to this was on Salvia (a horribly shitty drug).

I can't totally explain it, but I was outside my body, and I was trying to "flip" myself back into my body. After a few attempts, and after the drugs wore off, I succeeded. I don't know if you'd classify this as one of the aforementioned experiences, but it was certainly an "out of body experience".

This thread makes me want to rewatch Waking Life. Which dreamcache's experience sounds a lot like.

I've had a few experiences like this except far creepier. Google "Sleep paralysis" and you'll see what I am talking about.

Luckily you didn't see hallucinations.... (some people hallucinate that cloaked figures are trying to possess them)

hell yeah it's crazy....

The last time I consciously astal projected, I started off feeling vibrations while I was paralyzed. It was like these waves on energy were shooting/pulsing through my body. I couldn't feel my body at all and I started to see stars or lights. It looked like I was in star wars traveling at the speed of light but instead of going forward I felt like I was moving backwards.... I remebered something called the "roll out technique" you just roll out of your body.... so I did...

It was SOOO REAL that I thought I had actually gotten up out of my bed but I was really astral projecting. It was SOOOO REAL I couldn't tell a difference. I went and knocked on a wall... tried to put my hand through some glass.... That's when I was like FUCK DUDE I just wasted those vibrations...

I went and laid back on my bed down on my stomach. I put my hands under my pillow then I closed my eyes. I opened them a second later to realize that I was still on my back and had never moved. For like 5 seconds this weird whoosh thing happened where I was in two places at once, lying stomach down and on my back at the same time... then I reoriented and was like "damn that was fuckin weird"...

For astral projections I take Preparation-H -- not sure what all this other talk has to do with this sensitive problem.

I used to get them regularly.
They'd last for what seemed like hours.
Sometimes I'd even be transported to another universe where I could see all of reality for its true nature.

Damn, I miss Ketamine.

Do this:

Put your couch or bed near your computer, set up a video camera with a live feed to a page on your website. Position the camera to shoot the entire room; you sleeping on the couch and your computer a few feet away from you.

Have your computer turned on with Wicked Fire open in a browser.

Go to sleep. See if you can exit your body, log into WFire and post in this thread, with a link to your live cam, "Everyone check this out now, go to my site" then just keep typing and posting as long as you can....

Make sure the camera has the computer screen easily viewable, so we can see the words being typed on your screen.

and no David Blaine maneuvers (like your friend is behind the camera with a wireless keyboard)

do that, and you'll go viral. (and maybe picked up by the studios)

My brother, and a few friends were on my couch chillin and he said that he had an out of body experience. that he like "zoomed" out, and watched all of us sitting on the couch from the corner of the ceiling. and right when he came back to normal, he said he almost "came". i was like..yo dude.. wtf. anyways, just saying.

I've had a few ghost encounters. The craziest of them happened back in High School.

My parents decided they wanted to get away from the big Atlanta suburban life and move to the mountains, so they bought an old cabin, renovated and added onto it. A few months after the renovations were done, I was asleep and woke up to feel myself being slammed hard against the bed.

I was up in the air and falling back down. I was looking around trying to figure out what the crap was going on and at the foot of my bed there was this Indian in war paint picking up the foot rail of the bed and slamming it back on the ground over and over again.

I called out to my sister in the other room, after a couple minutes she finally came in, but by that time it was over. She turned on the light and everything on the shelves in my room were knocked over and my bed was moved a couple feet.

We don't get earthquakes, so I know it was real. I checked later and the Cherokee were big in the area where my house is. So maybe it was some pissed off spirit.
