Have you ever been to a Psychic?

A couple weeks ago when I was traveling with my college team, we stopped by a mall and there was a palm reader. I figured why not, never did this shit, let me see how retarded they could be. She took $5 and it begun:

She asked for my name and age.
Went on to say that I should stop or never use drugs. When I said I don't use them, she said keep it up. lol.
She then asked me why I was here (we traveled to Baltimore from NY) and I told her that I came for my college games.
She said that in the near future she sees the government contracting me for some work. She asked what I work as.
I told her that I do online advertising.
This was the funny part, since it caught her off guard and she knew she'll sound like a dumbass. She basically said that well the government will contact me to do some sort of advertising for them.
She told me that I should do some PR work while I'm here and that I'll find the love of my life at the age of 26 and have 2 kids.
Lastly she said that she senses that I am extremely worried about my parents. wtflol

So there you go. Fucking ace.

I had similar experience. Lady asked me my name. She said I will be rich, have 3 kids and other standard shit. She has a long ugly nose. And funny hat. Anyway I couldn't speak to her any longer as she flew away on her brumstick.

I do see 2 reasonably valid uses of psychics, though (aside from entertainment):

I think the whole psychic industry is wayyy to profitable for it to be an accurate indicator if psychic abilities do truly exist in people. The ability for people to spout off BS and customers having no clue if it will come true or not after they pay is too easy to scam.

However...

I do know quite a few people that have a sixth sense about predicting the future. My ex GF was able to do this. She actually predicted her friend getting in a really bad car accident, which is pretty fucking serious. It scared me. She predicted other minor things all the time.

I don't have this ability, but anyone I know that does I find extremely interesting. For anyone that studies Myers-Briggs, their type is typically INFJ (which is about 1% of the population).
 
I have never been to a "psychic", but my GF is highly intuitive and connected to this type of thing. She doesn't call herself psychic because she doesn't like these people either. Most of the psychics are full of shit just like any other profession. But there is such a thing as connecting to a higher energy and there is much more to life than what we see with our eyes. I know most people don't give a shit about this type of thing and that's fine.

But it is possible to be able to know what people are thinking and to know what they are going through in life, my GF does it all the time. She is highly accurate in everything she picks up about people. But she's not like most of the loser psychics. She doesn't like talking about this stuff. She is humble and doesn't go around showing her gifts off to the whole world. My GF sees a different color glow around everybody that she meets. As soon as she looks at somebody she instantly sees different colors that make up their energy. And what Gambit said about the MBTI is true. My GF is an INFJ.

Most of the people who are truly connected and able to read people don't use these powers to make money. These types of gifts are gifts that are given to people who deserve them and use them appropriately. If you're only concerned with the ego and the physical world then you won't receive spiritual gifts. There is a lot more to say about this subject but since it has very little to do with physical things most people don't care.

Got my palm read in 9th grade at a school Halloween fair. True story.

Psychic: "Do you play sports?"
Me: "Yes, go on..."
Psychic: "Hmm... I sense that you use your legs a lot in your sports, don't you?"
Me: "Holy shit, I play baseball, and I'm a catcher... I use my legs a ton!"
Her: "Be sure to stretch a lot, I sense a potential injury if you don't."
Me: "Oh man, I will, thanks."

When I went home and told my Dad he basically said I let myself get trolled (not his term). Why, I asked? EVERY FUCKING SPORT USES LEGS, and of course if you don't stretch you'll get injured!

Shit, $10 went to waste.
 
my dad who is a brainless monkey is very much into this. I once accompanied him to one of these sessions just to see what it was about. This psychic fucker then had the nerve to tell me that blood isn't flowing through my brain properly and hence i would not be able to compete with most people.

I think of it in a good way though because this is what fueled my drive to do well. Two years later i was doing $6k+/day in AM.

because there are only so many Zodiac signs and hundreds of millions of people in each zodiac sign. So on every single day, there will be millions of people whose horoscope predictions come true.. even if you just make up some bullshit..

Everyone has psychic abilities they just have to activate them by practicing.

Oh and no I've never been to a psychic because most of them are full of shit as was stated. I have a friend who went pretty frequently for a bit and it was always the same bs she was being told.
 
When I call, I usually say, "hello who's this"? They will typically say, "Well you called me, who's this". Then I hang up... A real psychic should already know who's calling amirite bros?
