have you ever got scammed?

I got scammed yesterday. I went to Subway and bought a meatball sub. The meatballs didn't look very fresh, but the guy told me they were only five minutes old. I got home and took a bite and suddenly realized that they were in fact not five minutes old. They were cold and tasted like dog food. I threw it away and didn't go back. They got my money and I got old dog food.

How the hell is that even legal?
You try to run an employment scam like that down under, you'll find yourself doing jail time and having your own assets repatriated to the people you screwed over unless you've got an amazingly good lawyer.

I know someone who had this very important looking buisnees guy come up to him saying he forgot his wallet in the office and he's running late to a meeting he took out a card that said his name and Goldman sachs and said you can call my secretary and he will take down your info and mail you 25$ for your trouble he called the number on the card they picked up the phone so and sos office and then took down his info. He gave him 20 bucks and walked away turns out it's a scam and works 9/10 times you get cards and tell your friend for the next call to answer it hello so and so's office
