I've asked the question a couple times but can't seem to get a straight answer out of anyone. So once and for all, can someone please explain to me what's so great about having a facebook account rep once you've gotten your daily budget limit raised?

I've already gotten mine raised so unless there are reps out there walking your ads through the approval process or getting you cheaper clicks I'm failing to see the point beyond that.

I already figured out on my own how to launch campaigns and get good CTR then adjust my bids till I'm profitable while split testing demographics. And from what I've read none of these reps are actual marketers who have a clue what to tell you when it comes to structuring your campaigns to improve EPC etc.

In fact when you think about it, the more you share with your rep the more likely they'll be you competition in the coming weeks.... And they have an insider advantage to boot.

So.... what am I missing?

i spoke with mine the other day. One of the things I asked was if you can submit to many ads and if so will it jack up my account. He said no, you can submit as many as you want, but if something did happen to the account, just call him and he'll take care of it.

That could be one thing, it might be easier to dispute things or fix things in an account.

I had too many ads in my one account so every time I'd go to load the page 90% of the time it goes to that Facebook common error page. I told my new FB rep that and he allowed me to open up new accounts and get their limit raised. I think there's a definite advantange to having one.

andyt - so again, all he really did for you was raise your account limits? As far as I know there is no limit on having multiple accounts.... is there?

Previously you weren't allowed to manage multiple advertising accounts, and that is still in their TOS I think. So I think this was something new he allowed because of the technical problem with too many ads in 1 account.

Well, I for one had added that Visa coupon and those other $$$ coupons to my new account that were posted here about a week and a half ago. The same coupons that had many ppl's accounts apparently banned.

Before firing up my first campaigns on saturday, I asked my rep if I should be concerned about these coupons sitting there as credits. He told me that I had no reason to worry about getting banned, since he was personally tagged to my account and would make sure my account remain protected.

I spent all the credits on sunday and my account is still fine. Then again, maybe it was a coincidence and not rep-related. Can't say for sure.

With a rep, if you have problems, you have one person who you can contact who is already familiar with you vs. you contacting support and getting random people always responding.

Why do you care whether you have a rep or not?

Mine did not get banned and i do not have a rep. For whatever reason i dont know why i don't, i usually do $1k+ a day. But part of me doesn't really want one anyways.

always nice to have someone to talk to at a company. they can help get your ads approved (not like that matters since 2 days ago) and they can tell the reps to approve your ads

I need a facebook rep to fix some problems with my account, If a rep can pm me or anybody else can help, let me know.

I don't care if you're making peanuts, making an effort to find a point of contact with the companies you do business with means you take your business seriously. When the fuck truck comes down the pike, you'll at least have a warm body that gives somewhat of a shit.

There are a lot of upsides besides just account spending.

- if a charge is declined, for whatever reason, facebook will usually freeze your ads. If you have a rep, you can call and they will unpause your ads while you sort the issue

- they can provide clarity as to why ads aren't showing, or why/how they are singling out groups of ads (ie. grants) and not giving them impressions

- tips on how to get approved etc

the list goes on, I have found having a good rep to be very helpful
