And why would it not be racist if was otherwise claimed American, British, Australian, etc?

But lets face it an immense amount of IM, Email, Forum spam , commited by someone with either so-so english to just downright engrish, with names like Sumit, Shabit, Pham, are often assumed to be residing somewhere in the Southeast Asia area, even by those who swear on their mother's grave they are not racist.

Generalization is bad... but lets take a look at the track records lately in our IT industry.

Get your facts right, there are barely any Indian spammers. It's the Malaysians who are into all this. There aren't many computer literate Indians, so you can forget spamming and hacking. Even the law in Malaysia can be bent and worked around for spamming etc. I was there last year so trust me, I know since I met a few of these morons.

Secondly, the internet infrastructure in India isn't all that great to promote things like these.

Jokes apart, I really don't mind all these racist comments, I generally play along but sometimes I feel these things need to be taken a stand against.

BTW, I really don't want to blow things out of proportion. Let's not take things to that extent that Jon finally decides "NO RACISM ON WF"... WF will be no different than DP if we have restricted freedom of speech.
