HBO Boxing tonight: Paul Williams vs. Kermit Cintron (9:45)

Anti-climatic ending :(

Wow no shit.. For those that didn't see it... Boring first 3 rounds, both fighters playing it safe with exception to Paul Williams at the very end of round 3.. Then beginning of round 4 rolls around, they're both starting to slug it hard, 10-20 seconds into the round they trip over each other, Williams falls down, Kermit literally flies out of the ring, onto a table (his back hitting a square device of some sort) and then onto the floor..

Kermit didn't try to move once. Doctors stayed near him for a few minutes, then they call the fight (they give a fighter 5 minutes to get back into the ring if they're ejected). In California after 3 rounds have been completed, they go to the score cards... Kermit gets wheeled, and loses the fight. SUCKED! Looks like it was going to be an awesome fight.. Doctors wouldn't "let" him as a precautionary measure.

But what I don't get, Kermit said he wanted to fight, why the fuck didn't he bother to move at all or get up? Sure, a doc may say not to fight, but if you really want to fight, and if he was able, you'd get up knowing you may lose. Just weirdo imo.
