I forgot how bad ass roy jones jr was. The last few fights he's had have been boring but hes pretty old now.

I haven't given a fuck about boxing since Tyson quit.

As for the super small guys division...meh. Something about two 100lb guys hitting each other with pillows for 12 rounds doesn't excite me.

As for this big white russian guy that fought Briggs, I'm not impressed. I can fucking promise you one thing, if you replaced him with Tyson, Briggs wouldn't have made it to a decision.

These comments just go to show that you really don't have much experience / knowledge in boxing history.

Have you ever been hit in the face with a flush jab by an opponent with a boxing glove on? I have, it doesn't feel like a pillow.

For two, "super small guys division", are you saying a guy like Pacquiao isn't exciting to watch? If so, I've doubt you've ever watched him fight, he's a fucking machine and exciting as hell to watch imo.

For three, "this big white russian guy" while he may not be exciting, he's doing what he needs to do in an intelligent manner to beat the opposition. It's smart, you can't knock a guy for doing what it takes.

Mike Tyson was anything but smart, and that was part of his excitement. BUT, many of the top boxing analysists say that most of his early opposition were less than great, which is why he accumulated so many early knockouts, and why he was beaten so often later in his career. So don't be so quick to get in the tyson dick sucking wagon.

Boxing itself has the potential to be very exciting.. It's all a matter of who's in the division. Unfortunately the heavyweight division has been seemingly drought of any serious talent for quite awhile. The weight classes of pacman though have been great.

Agreed, but David Haye is looking great. Hopefully after Harrison he can get a fight with either of the Klitschko's. I can see him beating them both.

Yeah and they'll continue to be great after pac and mayweather.. who seriously need to sort their shit out and fight.

I'd like for Haye to get in the ring with either Vitali or Wladimir.
But seeing that Haye confronted them, wore those stupid shirts, etc.... and then after all that, backed out of multiple fights....I just don't see Haye accepting the challenge anytime soon. He has already turned down 50/50, which is more than fair.

Haye also talks a lot of shit that doesn't make sense. For example, he said he "wasn't worried about the old timers" when talking about Vitali fighting Briggs.

HELLO! Mr. Haye! You are fighting a 38-year-old Audley Harrison, who has accomplished absolutely nothing at heavyweight. Certainly not anything close to the level of Shannon Briggs.

Back in April Haye laughed off the idea of fighting Harrison, saying that the only way he'd fight Audley would be "by some miracle".

Well, that "miracle" appears to have happened, because they are now fighting next month. I called that move several months before the fight was signed.

Haye does stuff like this throat cutting gesture and stupid shirt showing Wladimir decapitated. And then backs out of fights.

Then Wladimir calls him out, and offers 50/50...Haye walks away.
What a pussy.

tbh the only reason this fight is happening is because a lot of the Brits want it. This will only raise his profile here and he'll get a fat paycheck from it too. Like Amir Khan, who's stacked millions upon millions without a real fight (until Maidana coming up).

After Harrison he has no reason to turn down a fight with either of the brothers and he knows he'll be scrutinized if he does.

Well we shall see. Vitali has already offered 50/50 across the board split to Haye. I'd like for it to happen, but unfortunately I just don't see Haye accepting.

Team Klitschko: 50-50 Deal on The Table For David Haye

“I would like to knock out Haye so that we can claim the only belt missing from the family's collection,” said Vitali. “There is no-one in the world apart from my brother who can beat me, I am the strongest. I still have plenty of energy, and in a few months, I will be ready to get back in the ring."

If Haye doesn't accept a fight with Vitali in 2011, the likely next opponent will be the winner of December's eliminator between Odlanier Solis and Ray Austin.

Klitschko's manager, Bernd Boente, says a 50-50 deal is still on the table for Haye. All the British fighter has to do is accept.

“We proposed that each fighter would receive 50% of the world rights, it is a fair offer,” said Bonte. “Haye has just to agree to it.”

Vitali loves fighting. Before he started boxing, he was a world kickboxing champion. Here's a video of him back in 1993.
