Hmmm..so if she is worth 300 million, why is she late on her mortgage? Even more so, why does she even have a mortgage?
Also, how do you know Dwight will never be worth $1 million? It isn't as hard to be worth 1 mill as it used to be.
Just sayin..
People that are quite wealthy also tend to forget the simple stuff in life that most average people pay up on time like clockwork.
I used to forget to pay utility bills all the time. If I ever had a mortgage (which is doubtful), I'd probably forget to pay that. Hell, when I rent an apt or house, I always offer pre-payment, because I know that its not a matter of not having the cash, its purely a forgetful thing.. plus its annoying to have to do it every month (and many times, if you offer a lump sum deal, they give you a very good deal for it aka 2 months free). Even so, who knows what or where I will be the next time rent is due? I don't. I cannot predict the future, so I play it safe and go for pre-paying for things like that. I wish I could pre-pay other things, but they don't let you do that. Hopefully that will change someday.
As far as Dwight never being personally worth $1M... I'd say, I hope he never is, just like me. Personal net worth is a joke. Its a standard and totally bullshit very general way to get a valuation on a person without looking at them in detail. You're measure by 'potential accumulation of liquid and hard assets and cash currently" (and some times in the future). Even so, unless you have access to private information that you should never have access to in the first place, there is no real way to guarantee that the valuation is correct or accurate.
Just look at that idiot, Donald Trump. He's got just about everyone outside of NYC convinced that he's not only a MULTI-BILLIONAIRE but that he's also the "largest real estate developer in New York City"!!!! Two, absolute, lies. He has never been a billionaire (nor will he ever be) and he has never been, at any point of time the "largest real estate developer in NEW YORK CITY"... let alone Manhattan. Not even close. But because he pretends and claims it... everyone has to trust that he's not lying... lol.. suckers.
Even so... Credit scores are not about how good you are with managing your finances, its purely a scoring system FOR BANKS to figure out, quickly too, if you are worth lending money to and/or how much of a vig they need to tack on to charge you for it.
Trust me. When you become wealthy, banks will fall all over each other to try and lend you money that you don't ask for or need, even if you tell them no, they will try their hardest to pitch it and have you take sooooomething from them... Its a really twisted fucking system like that. The people who need the cash, can't get it at a decent price, and the people that don't want it, get it for next to nothing.
I'm not complaining, just telling you how it is.
