Ok, when I really think about this, I feel like Im about to puke. :repuke:

I'm not a noob at all as far as web development, but I am when it comes to affiliate marketing, sales marketing in general on traffic based sites. We all know that traffic = money, but I can't see to get the right side of that equation. I have a site now that gets 13-15,000 uniques / DAY... over 1.5 million VIEWS a month. Adsense converts $650 / month and that is IT

Yeah, I have applied to a lot of networks, getting into azoogle, maxbounty, adbrite, cpaempire, I just DONT know where to start :( I am getting down on my hands and knees  beggin you to help me monetize this site! Any and all advice is welcome.

I know that I still want to continue to increase traffic, but I want to monetize it much more first.

Thanks!

First things first, Traffic does not necessarily = money. It depends on the traffic.

PM me the URL and I will take a look around and see if I can offer any suggestions as to how to get started.

certainly traffic doesnt always ALWAYS mean money, but you should think that 13k uniques / day should be bringing in a bit more than what its bringing in right now.

Ok - A few notes from a very quick look...

First off the site is very busy. Lots going on. So much so, that on my laptop, i kept having to scroll from side to side just to read everything. try to make the page not take up the whole screen. very few pages do I have this problem with.

Your adbrite banner is probably not helping you at all. I would think you could earn more from just about anything else.

Because of your demographic, I would concentrate on things like Ringtones, and easy zip submits like free ipods and concert tickets. You will not earn much from any one sign-up, but since your visitors are probably not looking to buy anything, most programs will not work for you.

A few larger payouts that might work -

GameFly or GottaPlay - video game rental service - $25 or so CPA
Debt Consolidation - $10-$15 per lead
Credit Cards - All over the board, be sure to get one that meets your demographics (i.e. Not the Visa Platinum card, but the Pre-Paid or everyone is approved cards...)
PayDay Loans
Car Loans

You have enough traffic to run proper A/B tests. to see what works for you. Split 1/3 traffic to one program, 1/3 to another program, and keep 1/3 the same. Be sure to use error bars to make sure your findings are significant, but with 4000 uniques per day per program, the cream should separate quickly.

Figure out what converts best and put it on your home page. Then put the 2-4th best paying(conversion*payout) on a rotating basis on the interior pages.

Then move the Adsense to the bottom of the page.

I would also look at removing the top google blue bar with prepopultaed searches. I would guess that is not getting you clicks.

Before you do anything you should put Crazy Egg – visualize your visitors on your landing page and get a feel for what is being clicked and not being clicked...That way you can get rid of the extraneous links that are being ignored by users. This might allow you to clean things up and get your ads a second look, which is how you are gonna get paid. The free version of their tool will at least give you a look into what is not used and therefore expendable.

Adsense is not going to do much for you because of the theme of your site, plus the low CTR, as well as the quality of ads on your site, they are mostly junk. I would try to avoid selling clicks to cheaply. Not saying to get rid of it, just feature it less.

Also the ad on the right side of the page that is flashing? Is that a paid ad? I would get rid of that because it is annoying as heck.

Lastly, did you design these games? I am looking for a flash game designer and if you did this, I probably have a little work for you....

I can help too. PM me your URL, with only 11 posts you can trust me right? Hehehehe. My bad, i'm ussually usless this time of year when I'm on land. Summer time too. I better shut up now.
