If you meant, "can," you spelled it wrong.
ได้ๆ would be the correct spelling (Spell ได้ once and the symbol ๆ will repeat it)
However, if somehow know the dialect of Northern Thai ได would mean ยังไง which means How? So you can help him, or how, how will you help him? Hmmm hmmm?

ได้ = Dai/Die with a falling tone
ได = A long middle toned Dai/Dye
ยังไง = yang ngai
อู้หยังกอ = oo ayang gor (This is Northern Thai language, so if you heard it in Bangkok everyone would be hello confused)

Most people are at first, but I learned the basics of reading in less than a month. I could read pretty fluently in 3 months.
Thai is a much easier language than English. The language is written exactly how the word sounds, with a few exceptions. Silent letters are generally marked, as well. None of that dumb shit that English tries to fuck you over with.
