Hi,
I'm working on a redo of my money site. Attempting to build out a PBN/Pumper network (they are the same thing I think?) ahead of time so a roll out will hopefully devastate the competition
Anyway wondering if I can have your guys feedback on something. I'm trying to setup my business as very light weight, centralized (i.e. can run from one admin panel if posssible). I'll give you some background on my current setup...
1) Product: eBook secured with product "Ebook Pro" from the former IMC (marketingtips.com). Monthly cost $50.
2) Payment: using 1Shoppingcart.com - monthly cost $140. This includes an autoresponder
3) Autoresponder: along side 1SC (above) I also have an Aweber "unlimited" package from a long time ago. Unlimited emails, unlimited subscribers, unlimited mailing lists. $19.95/M
4) Processing via the lowliest paypal method. Don't remember the name.
So my total cost if 210/month. Not a lot, but I would like to keep it down. Current purchase process looks like this
1) Customer generally signs up for my pre-sales AR. That's aweber.
2) If customer purchases they go to 1SC where they enter info. then redirect to paypal. That adds them to my 1SC post-purchase autoresponder.
3) Ebook username/password is delivered to them via 1SC autoresponder.
4) eBook usernames/passwords have already been uploaded to 1SC
I'd like to scale this back. It seems overly complicated for 4 different services (including a legacy piece of software- eBook pro) for delivering an eBook. Help me simplify this.
The thing I love about Aweber is it has unlimited emails, lists, everything. Unlimited. Add to that it's $20/month. It's honestly hard to beat.
The thing I love about 1SC - I can target stuff quickly and easily via any field. For example, I sent out an email asking them about certain services available in their state - all you got to do is put the %state% place holder in and whammo - customized. Also it handles all the licenses and stuff from eBookPro
Thing I like about eBook pro. Nothing. They are the only solution I know of that allows for decent securing of your digital product. That's why I've used them.
So, that said, I'm taking the advice of of GimpSmack here and changing it from an eBook into an online course with accompanying video material etc etc to make it harder to pirate. So I'm hoping after a year I can discontinue the eBookPro software -stop paying for it - and move everyone to my online members thing. So couple questions about that. What is the best, lightest way to go about doing that? I don't want multiple services hacked together. I want the lightest/easiest way of doing that. Given the services I currently have (1SC, Aweber), what is the best way to do this?
I was thinking of ditching 1SC and using the aweber API to store customer information (name, location, etc) this would also allow me to integrate it in my own admin panel for ease of use later. I'm not that good a big picture/vision planning, so hoping you guys will help me out. How would you set this up?
Thanks!
