So i am chatting to my friend on messenger and i say.

Lest make a website that offers services gained and services rendered.
He is a bit more computer savvy than me.
Anyway he links me to wicked-fire and here i am.

The problem is how can people make money out of these websites if they build it and run it.
Where can your income come from.
Sorry if this question is bad or doesn't belong in this forum.
kind regards

You answered this yourself.

...a website that offers services gained and services rendered.

How do other websites make money from connecting people looking to buy and sell stuff with one another? i.e. eBay.

I guess thats why i am here asking this silly question . i dont fully understand how a income can be made.Sure i understand a paypal or ebay but is there more ways.
Not that i expect an easy answer from you guys .

they take a fee and a percentage of every payment usually from the service provider's end, and sometimes they charge the buyer to post a job/request

how is 3 out of 50 30%?

when i first read this thread i thought you already had a business plan and a concept for your site but it sounds like you havent done jack shit and youre basically asking "what kind of website should i make if i want to make money". if thats the case i estimate you'll be banned by the time i get back from taking a shit

Let me be honest with you bro, nobody makes money off the internet here. We're all just a bunch of posers.

Take me for example, I'm fifteen years and I just come here for the boobs pics because the porn filter my parents put on my computer doesn't catch them.

I hear digital point or warrior forum is filled with big ballers who will help you out with your questions. Go there and ask around.

I bought a few of the Frank Kern and John Chow packages on there and have secured my financial freedom. I am writing this on my Yacht as I'm sailing around the Bahamas.

You don't know free until you walk out on deck with your bare ass and feel that warm tropical breeze caressing your balls. It's like 70 virgins massaging them while taking turns giving you head.

Thats what forums are for isnt it?start somewhere find pointers and search, comeback with more info.Whatever you may think ,i find it rather insulting that you have concluded that I am worth less than your toilet habits.
Plus what do i care about what kind of website i should make ,Did i ask for that?
Ironically your post implies that it did.

What it comes down to is that people here and most other places don't appreciate folks who pop up creating threads that sound like "help me figure out how to make monies" without first demonstrating that they took the time to do some research by using the search button. If you did that you'd probably see the hundreds of other threads here and on your local search engine which would have lead to your answer without the need for someone to actually create a link to help you do the actual search which Andrew did. Moral of the story: don't be lazy.

thats not "irony." take an english class

asking for advice is fine if you actually have something to offer or if you have an interesting idea that people are interested in helping you with. for example i posted a thread asking if anyone had ideas on one specific ad campaign i was planning for a game ive been working on for a year, and i got a lot of good replies. however i would have gotten a lot of shit replies if i said something like "hey guys i want to make a computer game but i dont know what it should be about, and also i dont know how to advertise it, so what should i do?"
