This recipe is for any kind of meat on the BBQ. (It's only "o.k." in the oven).
Salt n' Peppa
(Extra Virgin) Olive Oil
Worcestershire Sauce
Tabasco Sauce
Garlic Cloves (Smash w/flat of your knife)
1/2 lemon
Out here in California, we have Albertsons... and you can buy like 5 lbs. of Chicken Breast for like ~$7. 5 lbs. of chicken will feed like 5-10 people... and it costs less than $10. (haha...Fuck You McDonalds).
I'm not sure what kind of grocery mart you have, but chicken is probably just as cheap, anyways:
Step #1: Poke the chicken (or meat) with a knife so everything will seep inside.
Step #2: Salt n' Peppa those fuckers up to taste
Step #3: Place all the chicken in a tray so it can marinade. Apply Olive Oil Liberally.
Step #4: 6 shakes of Worcestershire. 4 shakes of Tabasco.
Step #5: Crush Garlic cloves and throw them into the mix.
Step #6: Add some (fresh squeezed) lemon juice in there.
..Let marinade 1 - 1.5 hrs.
Get the BBQ HOT before you throw it on. It also sometimes helps to SPAM it up, so it won't stick as much.
Put the chicken Skin-DOWN... and keep rotating the chicken so the outside doesn't burn too much. It usually takes about 20 min to cook thoroughly. Poke the chicken with your finger to test if it's done.
Squishy/Bouncy/Bloody = Not Done
Hard = Well Done ... somewhere in the middle is nice. Juicy yet cooked.
...Once it's done cooking, you can eat it straight (which is BOMB) or cut it up and make some BOMB burritos.
My friends dad taught me to cook a couple years ago and I use his recipes all-the-time.
Try it out and let me know what you think... or tell me what you would like to learn how to make and ill post it.
IMO, once you can cook meat, rice, and eggs, you're set... you can cook so many different types of plates.
Enjoy
P.S. If you don't cook with Olive Oil, now you know the "key"... (It's also fuckin' good for you).
