Not sure what this site is about. So I'm supposed to search for people I know, make anonymous comments about them, then sit in my chair and giggle like a little school girl because of my anonymous comment, or something? Huh???

Well sure you can...that's not its entirety, also to be able to look someone up and get an idea of what kind of person they are. Like "Yelp" but with people.
I would be pretty confident if anyone saw someone(maybe an ex) they knew on vextell.com or group of people from your area you would most definetly put your two cents in. Or at least see what others have said.
You might want to lawyer up. I have a feeling you will be hearing from lots of attorneys in the not too distant future.
I agree with the comments pointing out the weakness in your site name for starters. You're better off with a clear cut name that lets visitors know what you're all about rather than trying to be edgy & clever.
Also, I don't know that the idea of sharing anonymous comments is that compelling. At least for me, if I want to say something nice about someone, I want them to hear it. On the flip side, if someone ripped me off or did anything worth complaining about I'd want someone to vent to & if I'm in a vengeful mood and was taking the time to post to a website I'd want the comment to get attention, not be anonymous.
I don't think anonymity and social networking really go together very well.
