:( This was my dream job too, really upset. Put into way too much hard work to be let go.

But I know though, need to kick myself into getting my IM goals going and be dependent myself. Made $500 this month off one method I've been working on, plus $70/month on another project, but it's not enough to support myself. Have four sites finished, just working on doing SEO for them and developing more content, plus promoting them.. Trying to scale things, but some of the things I'm working on require time to grow/develop.

Feels really bad man.

Can you still collect unemployment?

I'm not sure man, I think I can but it's not going to be much. Was helping a friend with that last time when he was down and out, and they offered him something like $150/week. Felt bad for him, but to be honest I don't want to rely on the "system". I'm too much of a hard worker to be doing that, trying to network and find another job. Problem is I'll have to move, my job market is horrible.

You should make sure to collect unemployment regardless. Every little bit helps.

That sucks bro. Good luck with whatever you do and I hope that this puts a smile on your face.

So you don't want to rely on the government system to assist you, but you are willing to rely on some random person/boss/company to provide you the stability you need to live life and raise a family?

Da fuck is wrong with you?

This is your chance to get out and start your own business. You said you made $500 with IM? Scale that shit up. Don't puss out and go back to work. Trust me, this is happening right now for a reason.

Yeah might be a major hint. My "dream" branded site I've been working on for 8 years went back online this month for the first time in two years.. I really started getting heavy into promoting it... Oddly enough I get let go in the same month. I know this site will accomplish big things, its a business I need to run with and dedicate myself to. All my life I've wanted to be my own boss, got my first paycheck from Adsense for $463 dollars when I was 14. That was ten years ago.. Have been addicted to the IM lifestyle, and it's the perfect time to settle down and get my business going.

Congratulations. You've been given a gift.

Most people have no motivation to improve their lives because they are stuck in mediocrity. You've been forced out of this mediocrity. This is the best thing that could have ever happened to you.

Now, hike up your skirt, grab your balls, and get to work.

The fact that you were able to generate some decent Adsense revenue at such a young age means you obviously have some talent at IM.

I suggest you keep your current campaigns going, and collect unemployment insurance to keep you afloat for the next few months.

You can now focus 100% on growing your website, and generating more revenue.

I lost my "day job" in 2006.

After spending 10 years on the road for 35 weeks a year, I didn't have an apartment anymore because I didn't need one.

I spent a month holed up at Boulder Station in Las Vegas drinking and thinking.

Then a friend of mine said that I should check out what he was doing with websites.

At that point in my life, I had never even had an email address, so I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it work.

6 months later I was making more money than I ever had before.

Consequences have never been the same.

Getting fired was the best thing that ever happened to me.

It will be for you too, if you want it to be.

Alexander the Great’s powerful army spent years overwhelming opposing armies in their conquests. His men were fierce and swelled with the confidence that comes with consistent victory. Yet when Alexander and his men arrived on the shores of Persia they were visibly outnumbered. Clearly out manned, his men pleaded that it would be wise to go back and get more men. Alexander responded by ordering the men to burn their boats. As their only means of retreat went up in flames, legend has it that Alexander turned to his men and said, “We go home in Persian ships, or we die.”
