Holy crap visitors/revenue halved today

Jesus christ just checked my adsense stats & revenue and its down 50% on the normal. Anyone else experienced the same thing? I have no clue as to why this would be ....

Is there something going on that is preventing people from surfing the web today? If there is I wish it would stop its costing me money!

Yep we have orbs that tell us how we are doing during the day. I have one in my house, plus a few around the office and at other owners houses.

They are set to look at conversions compared to estimated spend to determine total profit vs established patterns throughout the day. Purple is good, red is bad...

Google Orb = Bright Red (think Rudolph's nose)
Yahoo Orb = dull Pink

We did not even hit red on Thanksgiving or at anytime other than the middle of the night.

Picks up again big time for us and I expect to see Deep Purple the day after Christmas - your mileage may vary.

Just a day to day thing, trust me I doubt there is anything going on out there that is related to and effecting your networks.

Im seeing the opposite, but am sure there will be drops in the future that will be natural and nothing to worry about.

Id start worrying if you traffic drops and stays down.

It could be that everyone's out Christmas shopping. My stats have taken a small dip, no where near 50% - but I have a lot of myspace related things that take a rise at the weekend and during school holidays so it could be why.

Gray Wolf has mentioned some strange happenings though - could be to do with that?
