Are there any sites for home decor that are comparable to something like CSS Mania is for web design?

Just moved into a new place on the west coast and want to do some actual planning on style instead of just buying random things.

Hmmm, let me think...

- you could go to designsponge.com as well and see their before and afters - AND sign up for onekingslane.com and see their vintage market finds and tastemakers stuff they have old shit that we all threw away and now have to pay money for but its still nice. I dont think there is anything wrong with your place not looking like crap btw - just see that thread about zombies - that guy posted all those pictures of his gun and all you can think about is how awful his carpeting is...

lol you make my fucking day every time you post

Sometimes I cuddle up with my macbook late at night while drinking a vanilla latte and I can just browse etsy and pier 1 for hours.

Dove chocolates are also my favorite while on my period <333

Pinterest is good.

If you are serious about decor and have the scratch, get custom shit done. We just got our first custom sofa, sexy as hell.

I know you said websites, so this might not help you...

However, I went to school for architecture at UK and there are always students there very intune with design and decor. If you are near a Uni that offers a architecture program, see if you can hire 3-4 of those students ( kinda like hiring a VA/part timer ) and get their advice on what you should have. Most programs are 5 year, so find someone in their 4-5 year, they will be hungry for work.

Also, there are tons of magazines at places like Barnes and Nobles type stores that cater to this. Find some magazines with styles you like, some websites, and then maybe hire out a couple students to come in as well.

Congrats.
