All it takes is a couple clicks.

My sister works for a Non-Profit, and their joint venture (Harry Tompson Center) is in the running for a $50,000 grant from Burger King to help fund their Homeless Shelter in New Orleans. They are a great organization that is helping the victims of Katrina.

If you would be so kind as to visit:
Campaign For Your Cause™

Type in your birthday and click on "Father Harry Tompson Center" than you can help make a difference in these people's lives. You can vote once a day and feel free to pass this info onto your friends if it's a cause you really support.

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOLKS!

If you feel strongly about something else, I'm not suggesting you shouldn't vote for that...

But my sister went to New Orleans for two weeks and stayed at the Father Harry Tompson Center, providing food for the homeless and rebuilding homes. It is a homeless center, and while school sports and special olympics and all those other programs are very important, there are a LOT more homeless people than there should be as a result of Hurricane Katrina. People that had owned homes and had families that were left with nothing.

I can vouch for the center via my sister and I know they are putting the money into what I believe is the most important issue in New Orleans. But, like I said, if another organization tugs at your personal emotions/situations and you want to vote for them... then I think you should.

Voted for Harry Thompson... helping fund a homeless shelter is always a good thing. One never knows when they might need to avail themselves.

Looks like it needs some more votes so, let's rock the vote guys (and gals)

Hmmm, I wonder if this is Chicago style voting where I can go back more than once? Maybe I'll pose as some of my dead relatives. :D

I voted Dee Dee Dee!

But the results stayed the same as posted already.

Good luck!
