I make deer jerky in the oven all the time. Worcestershire, Soy Sauce, Liquid Smoke (hickory flavor), Garlic Powder, Tony's Creole
Cut the meat about 1/8th to 1/4th inch thick.
Stick toothpicks through the meat and hang it on the oven rack.
Set the oven at 200F and prop the door open with a fork. Do it like that for several hours. I have to wedge the fork into the door button on my oven to keep it cooking without the door closed (you may or may not need to do this but in any event you do need to keep the door propped open the entire time to let moisture escape)
