So this morning I wake up to find out my primary email was hacked into...AN HOUR after I went to bed (looked at time logs). Anyways, I spent the whole fucking morning recovering the account and changing all my passwords to everything I can think of just to be safe. I'm already pretty pissed as is, but after recovering the account, I find out this cockblast decided it was a good idea to delete ALL MY SHIT. Note that this is a Gmail account so that means I don't delete shit from it, just archive everything. He basically deleted 300mb worth of emails.

So to the fucking point, I come to WF to vent and ask for advice/help on how I could potentially get back at this fucker. Gmail logs all recent access activities so I managed to get this guys IP address. I've already done reverse IP lookup and whatnot to see that it originated in Israel. Now I understand that this could in fact be his IP or it could have been a proxy, but I'm fuckin pissed and would love to figuratively "shit in this guys mouth."

I'm down for any ideas and if someone wants to have a stab at him, his IP is 80.178.18.23

Plug in the IP address into hxxp://www.db.ripe.net/whois and contact the Internet Service Provider. Report the offender with whatever proof you have to the spam or fraud dept. But you are usually dealing with another country and their laws, so I have no idea how far you are going to get.

1. You can configure Thunderbird for gmail and have a local copy of your entire email account.

2. You changed all your passwords from the same computer? He's probably peeking at his logs lifting all of them right now..

Now you guys got me worried...I'm planning on getting roboform set up to manage all my passwords. Anyone have thoughts on the software or any similar software?
