how are all of the oldschooler WF'ers doing these days?



this forum is destroyed. came back to ask about agentic AI coding. it's got crazy good since about Xmas. I was a decent PHP/Java/Android coder but nothing special, and Claude Code has changed the game. biggest mindblown moment since bitcoin.

I just think of the all the hardworking affmarketers here who made bank but couldn't code. now it doesn't matter

I'm a fulltime software engineer now in a cushy enough job so hoping I'm not shitcanned myself, might have to go back scamming, sorry, 'pushing offers'

anyway that's my 2cent. I realize no oldschool come back here and even my message sounds like AI/Indian/Spam when I read it back. but I've been here since that lovable NYC Jew Jon started this mess of a forum.
 
Same boat lol, still drop by from time to time, old habits die hard...

Really think that even a half-assed attempt at reviving this place would work. Or just sell it to one of the old members and maybe something can happen that way. Depressing af seeing what WF has turned into.
 
I still often type "wickedfi..." into the browser when I sit down at my computer out of habit or muscle memory, only to be disappointed by what I see. Just a bunch of bots, spammers, scammers, and a forum owner who doesn't give a fuck. This place once reigned supreme, but it's just a hollow shell now, with little to offer anyone. The forum model is dead.
