every time I tried to join a network as a publisher/affiliate
I am asked to answer this question
other similar questions are
"how are you driving traffic"
"are you working with other networks"

I used to be a web disigner, and totally new to the online marketing stuff
anybody could kindly tell me how to answer their question and get approved?
:xomunch:

Since you used to be a webdesigner, do you have any websites that you've created that you could put advertisements (banners) on? You could mention one of the urls to your site. You might want to get back into webdesigning if your in internet marketing as it can be a great help.

thank you guys
i used to create sites for others,, if I show them those sites
i can't provide anything to prove those sites have anything to do with me
and it may make them think i am going to lie, that's not what i want to do

and some networks are not that patient with new guys
any suggestion to make me sound like a pro? =.=

You don't have to sound like a pro, they're aware of noobs. It's not that hard to get approved, if you don't want to use a website just tell them how you plan on making money with them, maybe through PPC? after you apply give them a call, most networks will call you afterwards anyway to speak with you. If you don't know how you're going to promote their offers I'd figure that out first.

I get a lot of people that say they're going to run PPC and whatnot. So long as you have a website, just tell em that you will use a variety of marketing methods.

Basically, they want money. Specifically, people that can sell/get leads. As long as your answer gives them what they want, you're in. You don't really need to enter a URL.. although some programs make that mandatory. In which case, link to your personal blog or ANY site you might have, or just to Google if you don't have anything (but just put up a site now, even if it's blank).

But you should call them a day or two after (whether you get rejected or no response) and ask about your application. They'll usually ask you what experience have you had and what offers you're looking for, as well as how you plan on promoting their products. say "pay-per-click marketing" or something.. it's not illegal and they don't hate it.
