That shit is almost as bad as the WAFO meetup where they let people that begged for donations be speakers.

I would say that completely ruins the credibility of the conference, but I'm not going to hear any suits talk anyway. It's all about networking, coke and whores Vegas style.

MarkusPOF, Shoemoney and Dennis Yu on a panel together does sound pretty entertaining. But only if they don't shut it down as soon as things get tense.
I don't know if you saw Dennis speak in NYC on the Facebook panel at Affiliate Summit East, but he knows the topic.
Additionally, I got a look at the tool he was using to manage Facebook campaigns. He has useful insight into ads on Facebook.
So, we decided it would be useful and informative to keep him on the panel, despite some people having gripes with him.
And of course, if Dennis voluntarily wants to stay as a speaker on a panel with Shoemoney after thoses posts, or Markus (after Marcus outed him for lying about Marcus's role in funding), I say bring it on. 2 months from now we'll all realize that Dennis is either extremely stupid in his decision, or this was a brilliant way to drum up interest in his panel. I'd go with the former.
Give Shawn & Affiliate Summit the benefit of the doubt here. If they feel that Dennis is still a good fit, that's their call.

Think about it having him on the panel is going to sell platinum passes. I going to grab some popcorn a 40oz and enjoy the show. I can promise you that one panel discussion is going to be a packed house. I cant wait for the Q&A. Do they allow Tomatoes and Fruit in the conference or shoes???
Did you know that there is no point at which a person's beliefs are stronger than immediately after they are disproved? Most people would rather put their head down and hold on to falsehood than reconcile their actions with new evidence.
Don't let that be you.
Every person whose association lent Dennis Yu any credibility has publicly disassociated themselves from him. Whether that's because of the current climate, or because his claims were never true, I don't know. But I do know there's enough information available showing he's not what he said he was that it should have had a greater influence on your decision to let him remain on the panel.
Then again, if you're letting him speak because you want to sit back and enjoy a little schadenfreude... props.
