The only thing I know is to make the keywords 3-4 words long.
Is it something like this:

"penis enlargement" = "natural penis enlargement pills"

My only question about this is, if targeted keywords cost less that means they have to get less clicks, right? If it was a popular keyword then it would get more hits and cost more and there would be more competition.

Is there any software out there that will create targeted keywords?

Thanks

There are a few tools to make more targetted keywords.

This tool should help: PPC Keyword Tool - Find Longtail PPC Keywords
Play with it and you can generate a nice list of long tail keywords. What I generally do is have a list of "buy" type words to put in one column, and match those with my keyword list in another column. If you find people who are in the buy-phase they are looking for an answer and more importantly they are looking for a product right then, so they will be click happy to go where you need to send them IMO.

So for your example of penis enlargement as the main keyword, you could add a list of "buy" words to your main keyword list like "buy penis enlargement" , "discount penis enlargement" , etc.

Targeted keywords are exactly that, targeted. Bidding on more targeted keywords will get you more targeted traffic which generally converts better.

Here's an easy one, get some PPC accounts and dump in 60k keywords each, bid low, then watch what get clicks. That's a realy world test, most of the keyword services are just so so.... although I have memberships to all of them. You're best keywords are the ones you find yourself. Also if you have a good chunk of sites scan your logs.

60K in keywords??!! How do you scan your logs?

How is it that there are phrases that are created from keyword generators and they aren't complete sentences or not gramatically correct and it still shows that phrase is getting traffic? Is it due to user error? mispelling etc..? I can understand that, but when words out of place and it isn't even a complete sentence/phrase?

Dude, surfers are lazy and sometimes speak English as a second language. Anything combo of typing can happen when surfing to "buy" or research on the web.

Yep, the keywords that have been the most profitable have been the ones I found myself.

I use the keyword tools mainly for inspiration to create my custom keywords.

overture puts the keyphrases in alphabetical order... i assume this is what you are referring to.

I think what he is refering to is when your searching for keywords with like Adwords Keyword tool you sometimes finding phrases like

"mustang part ford"
"part mustang ford"
"buy ford part mustang"

Where the keyphrases dont make sense, instead its like someone decided to randomly mash 3-4 words together into the wrong order making a phrase that doesnt make sense..
