How did you do on your goals and new years resolutions for 2010, business and otherwise?

What did you accomplish in 2010? Were you able to take your business to the next level or did you fail?

Fucked my 2010 benchmarks in a big way. The money hasn't been bad; it just isn't at all where I was thinking it would be this time 361 days ago.

I got laid off from a high-paying job in Sept 2009, my 2010 goal was to make serious money from the sites I had been dabbling in and NEVER punch another mans clock. I have set myself up to do exactly that, the knowledge gained from this forum helped a bunch too.

Goal for 2010, become my own high-paying boss. Accomplished.

Goal for 2011, getting married and get bossed around, LOL....

1/3

I did double my income stream but the income goal was for far more than double. ;)

Worse, the Health goal went totally backwards in fact. I think the 2011 health goal will simply be not to gain any more weight. :(

7/11 ... not bad considering how I planned them out in steps.

Been setting my goals for 2011 in stone the last couple of days, revisiting my mistakes and analyzing my strengths and downfalls. Definitely been a year of heavy lifting and lots of learning.

Cheers to the new year!

I achieved most of them by April/May last year... I had a pretty incredible start of the year.

I would've reached all of them if it wasn't for the fact that I spent August-November this year (start of college) not doing any business work at all. And I'm going to make sure that never ever happens again.

My goal this year is became graduation and some business... and I managed to achieve that goal.
what is important? efforts and positive thinking.. do again and again. don't look back. if you think this thing are right.. do it.. that things what i do.

I hope that goal next year will be successful too..

This year's been great , not that great but imma hoping for a lot better when 2011 comes for both my career and uh, somethin else =)

Bit of a mixed bag for me. I achieved more of my personal goals than my business goals but still made some good improvements on 2009.

^LOL!

"My goal this year is became graduation..."

-Sounds like it will take you a long time to reach that goal, mrsaw... ;p

it's hard.. LOL.

i had lot of pressure while I'm student.. but the matter has over..
2011 i am waiting you...

- Run 20km
=> Done, did 20km in May
- Go on a Thailand trip
=> Check, 3 weeks of Thailand in November
- Make more in 2010 than I made in 2009, preferably with less PPC
=> Made more, but unfortunately 95% with PPC

OFF-TOPIC (my apologies)

It seems that many guys in PPC want out of it but are making money with it. Why would you want out when you are banking? I myself have ALWAYS failed miserably with PPC, but SEO has been a God-Send. I wish to understand how PPC works for guys even if I don't have an interest in trying it.

PPC keeps you too busy. It's worse than a full time job, and you gotta USE a lot of money to make a little money in return. Risk of capital and the occasional sleepless night is mandatory.

Don't waste your time pining for PPC, 1yerrot... SEO is pure gold in comparison.

Past 3 years one of my goals is to always make more than previously, and I've done that fortunately this year.. will be my first 100k year; all from my own sites/services I own.

Also ran a half marathon.

I'd love to hit 20k a month for 2011 though. I really want to get this house paid down a lot more so that I can move out and not take a direct hit.
