How do beat the urge to eat?



One established tip is to have soup with your meal, and you'll likely eat fewer calories. Cream soups are exempt from this, however. I just made a fresh pot of Chinese vegetable soup with chicken, tofu, peppers, onion, garlic and bok choy.

The soup is great but the problem is, how many of us have time to prepare all that? Unless like on a weekend you make it, then reheat during the week. Most canned soups are not good for you, way too much sodium...

Gum certainly works, though I'll often get a headache if I'm chewing too long, I'll often spit out the gum after 30 mins when it loses it flavor and pop in another, I easily go through a pack of gum a day, otherwise it would be a pack of cigarettes a day.
 
The next time you want to open that bag of spicy Cheetos haul your hefty ass to the bathroom and take off your shirt in front of the mirror. Would you want to fuck that? No? Not so fucking hungry now are you.

On a serious note - there are plenty of worthy suggestions mentioned by other WF'ers. I regularly use tea, fruit & Turbo's teeth-brushing remedy if I know I shouldn't actually be hungry- it's just boredom.

I'm still waiting for the hydrogel pill to come along. Hydrogel is that plastic like capsule they put drugs in for you to swallow. The hydrogel concept is to swallow a bunch of these gel-like capsules and they'll expand in your stomach to make it feel full, like lap-band surgery. I haven't heard anything about lately so I guess it's a fail.

Since when did I say I have a weight problem douche bag? I'm not overweight, I just feel the need to eat shitty food when I'm bored. Shit that is bad for you no matter your weight. Maybe you should re-read my post.

Do sex
Eat something..lol
Start your damn computer and fuck around with it.

Your boredom sounds like a dopamine thing to me.

Your body/mind wants to get the neurons in your brain stimulated. Food is a handy way to do this and the act of eating itself is very comforting.

Since weight is not an issue, believe it or not, the advise to have an orgasm is probably the best given so far that is safe for you to get a good dopamine firing session going on.

Nicotine, Caffeine, Alcohol, THC, Opiates, and sugar are all substances that OVER stimulate the production of dopamines, sans Pleasure Center of the brain.

With not knowing the details of your lifestyle, this is just something else that you can look into to help with the munching thing.
