How do you know what people are paying for clicks?

I read another thread where someone asked what to look for when researching a niche, and one of Jon's replies was to see how much money per click people were paying. If I'm using adsense, how do I tell what advertisers are paying per click?

Choose estimated cost per click from the drop down menu

but other than that I really dont know about adwords, thats one of the things I really like about overture, when bidding on CPC for a keyword you can see right there what the other top bids are.

yeah, that's by far the best feature
in adwords you need to bid and see what estimated position you get
bid higher and you see your position change
I think that's accurate as it gets.. I could be wrong
