consider this, bring something valuable to the table. How I've managed to land partners willing to invest in my ideas is by simply bringing a certain talent, or knowledge of certain campaign... or whatever. Learn to leverage your personal tool set to show someone you are actually worth it.

I do have some skills but I can't figure out how they could help as there are many others who can help with it.
