How do you morally justify some aff products?

If I want to buy something, I don't want moral judges to impose their beliefs on me.

Freedom over all.

So, if I believe I should be able to buy what I want so long as it doesn't hurt others, then I want someone to be able to procure it.

So long as a business transaction doesn't hurt 3rd parties (like kiddie porn does or wild animals), and the buyer and seller are on the same terms, then I'm fine with profiting from that business transaction.

Yo seriously man dont do anythinig that's unethical. You don't want to end up like these guys. most guys doing unethical stuff don';t make any real money nways. all of the super affiliates promote legit shit like amazon products/ebay. dont sacrifice your morals man!!!

Smoked Nicotine Dosages
Threshold 0.2 - 0.3 mg
Light 0.3 - 0.8 mg
Common 0.6 - 1.5 mg
Strong 1 - 2 mg
Heavy 2 - 4 mg

E-Cigarette cartridge contents:
Low 11 mg
Med 14 mg
High 18 mg

18 mg (1 e-cig cartridge) / (divided by) .3 mg (one ultralight cigarette) = 60 cigarettes

you are welcome, please feel better about yourself now.

...and if you're thinking that one e-cig cartridge only lasts for the same period of time as one real cigarette, you're obviously not familiar with how they're used. People use one e-cig cartridge for sometimes weeks at a time. It's not like they're sucking down 18 mg of nicotine in 5 minutes.

Haha there is so much mis-information/incorrect information out there about them.

Yes the nicotine levels themselves are very high vs regular cigs, but the delivery method is very poor vs cigarettes. Estimates on nicotine absorption rates I've seen vary widely from 10% - 50% with most coming in around the 30% range. It's probably a little different by person, juice, and by device used.

It always pisses me off to see one cartridge = a pack of cigarettes because you will not actually absorb nearly that much even at some of the highest levels of 'juice' you can get.

I've been using electronic nicotine inhalation devices for about 10 months, one of the best moves I ever made.

hah, wont get many responses from capitalists to that one. I think its easier to make money when you believe in something, but some people like it the more they're ripping people off or hurting them, and 99% dont care.

As the title says. I've recently been looking at e-cigs aff programs, and I was thinking, can I really morally justify selling these? I spoke to one aff network owner who boasted each cartridge is equivalent to "20 cigarettes". Surely there's such a massive possibility there of e-cigs making people actually smoke a lot more than they already do, lowering them further into their addiction?

I mean, even though it seems to be not too bad health-wise, the problem comes if they go back to cigarettes after that, smoking even more, as a result of you or me.

How do you deal with it guys? I wanna get into this, as I think I could make a fair bit, but I can't get over that moral barrier.

Joe

I've actually used them and I don't really see why you would have a moral problem. It didn't make me smoke anymore or any less. You really shouldn't worry about it. If anything you're giving them a healthier alternative.

Asking this question here is just going to get a bunch of guys flaming you because they either have no ethics or don't care or have rationalized their morals away already so not the best place to bring it up. Bottom line if you aren't comfortable promoting something don't do it theres' plenty of legit shit around with affiliate programs to promote more than you could ever run out of.
QFT

As long as your not pushing it to non-smokers then there should be no problem. You're giving them a better alternative.

As for our industry in general, I think if you put money before morals then your a sell out. You can say that on WF and act all badass on the interwebz but do you have the balls to say that to hmmmm you're father? Even worse, these black wanabe geeks talk about how they teach people a lesson. With this logic robbers/crack dealers/Bernard Madoff shouldn't be in prison because they were just teaching homeowners/addicts/investors a lesson... It doesn't matter what excuses or e-gangsta smack talk berry slingers and all those BS affs give, it's still a scam.

The way I decide if I should run a offer is ask myself if I can say I do that online (in full detail) to family and friends.

Hello friend,

Whole point of affiliate marketing is for scam other for make money. If no scam other no make money.

If want do good maybe should help homeless or work charity free.

Good luck bro

i was trying to think of something clever to say, or a pic to post in response to this, but forget it. Not worth the energy, ill just say one word.....wow

If they want unhealthy products sell them those products, get paid, then buy yourself a gym membership.

Contrary to what most people would think, this is what Jesus would do.

Why do you need to morally justify it.. Just concentrate on ur campaigns, tests, payouts, traffic sources...And build some long term white hat money sites...on the side for continuity... This shit happens when you have a lot free time.... You may justify all you want morally and ethically when you retire..

Oh shit.. I shouldn't have done that..
I should have gone to the himalyas to meditate instead..

There are many ways of redemption ..
Adopt a few street dogs..
Send money to thirld world countries..

And get busy my friend...

I don't sell ciggerates but when I do I sell ecigs..
Says the worlds most interesting man

Woah you're way out there, brother.

I don't.

If I feel uncomfortable with an offer, I do not promote it.
