How do you tell Asians apart?

also, Korean all look the same..same face, same hair same cloth..
Japanese kid dress weird..if you see kid dress in a bright yellow jacket..90% chance he is japanese..
and if you see someone wear a shoe that looks like Nike hyperdunk but it spell niki on the shoe..you know who they are
It's funny that you say this because here in Hawaii I can always tell when an Asian girl/white guy couple are from Canada just by looking at them. 90% of the time the guy is a tool so that usually tips me off that they're Canadian.

It's pretty simple to discern a Russian person from a Chinese person. Just listen to them when they talk. Most Russians speak Russian and most Chinese speak English.
Seriously, though, there are probably too many different cultures within the borders of China to be able to give just one description to fit everyone who is geographically Chinese.
I guess you could always do what Hitler did and classify people by their surnames, but the only way you will be able to truly tell is if you go spend some time in all of those places and live in these different communities. What you are asking about is not something you can learn from a book, it comes from experience.

I'd like to point out that facial recognition is an important measure of IQ/EQ.
The ability to quickly process and recognize familiar facial traits = Higher IQ.
The ability to quickly process and recognize facial expressions and determine a persons mood = Higher EQ.
And another thing.. To think that localized gene pools would not develop distinguishable facial traits and other traits over time is kind of ignorant. But I guess it is a little bit hard to understand if you are from a mixed bag country like the us.

It was just a question. I like Asian ladies and I think they would like it if you go up to them and say "Are you Japanese/Chinese/Taiwanese/etc.?" and you are actually right. So I want to know ways to make sure you're right about where you think they are from.
