any thoughts?

Either I'm doing something totally wrong or my adwords acct is just fucked.

Any new campaign automatically starts with a ridiculous minimum bid.

Is there anything i can do or should I forget google from now on?

I'm sending traffic to landing pages I create which I try to put some decent content on and either iframe the real target page or link to it...

delete the campaign and repost it all in i have had that happen on few campaigns but when i resubmitted it was all good :)

They don't call it crap-words for nothing...

capitalist pig has a post on his blog that he added a privacy page etc. and redid everything and it worked out for him. I would just keep trying!

Buy a new domain and setup a new campaign with it. Make sure it's brand new though, and don't worry about getting it indexed... and yeah, having a privacy/contact link on the landing page has been known to help.

I had this happen to a couple of my affiliates before and we contacted Google but never received a response back. They were all seeing click costs around $10 or more for keywords they had originally paid less than $1 for. The campaigns were established with very high CTRs and targeted landings. Some were able to just reenter all their info into a new campaign but others still saw the outrageous CPCs and had to set up a whole new Adwords account to get it back to normal. The first time I heard of this happening was this summer. I'll try to find out more info for you. Good luck!
