I thought this was a pretty great article contrasting Linkedin and Facebook, and how under the radar Linkedin is.

The whole resource-for-recruiters thing is causing major legal headaches for firms at the moment. A friend of mine does LinkedIn training, and she was telling me about someone in the UK who created a LinkedIn profile, which included the default option of "open to job offers".

Their company kicked up a stink about it, tried to make them take it down, they refused, the company threatened to fire them, they took it down, then left and sued their employer for constructive dismissal. And won.
