Prepared being:

a) Creating the landing page(s)
b) Preparing the keyword list
c) Setting up all the tracking stuff

etc

Usually prepare myself mentally and bust it out in a few hours.. most of the time.

It's not that hard, just map it all out and do it.

I have a template set up now for LP so takes around 30-40 to make changes.

keywords it will take me around 5 minutes to come up with right keywords ( this is because I have been doing this for a while and usually know buying kw's)

Tracking stuff is done by tracking 202 pro - 10 minutes.

All up under an hour. I have 3-4 new campaigns each day and usually 1-2 will make me money overall.

If you are a newbie it will take you longer. I remember when I started of it used to take me days to come up with everything and I still failed haha.

Couple weeks. Takes a while to get multiple pages designed, tests set up, creatives created, IOs signed etc.

under 10 minutes .. to get a tester up to guage traffic levels & intent.

couple of hours to tweak it, build a lander and run live if the first test pans out.

Depends.

I can usually have a new campaign up in a day, but taking it and branching it off into multiple traffic sources is what takes time.

Also, going the scatterbrain method and making 7 campaigns each day on varying niches isn't going to get you anywhere. I started about 4 months ago, and so far I've made campaigns for 20+ verticals, 40+ campaigns in all. Only a select few have generated significant profits, and those few were very closely related.

The time it takes to make a campaign also varies by traffic source. Starting a new campaign on search may only take an hour to find keywords and generate a dozen or so ads, but on social, generating 2000+ ads precisely matched to varying demographics is going to take longer.

And like Gopher said, media buys take longer to setup.
