How long for Namecheap DNS updates?

I used namecheap for the first time (good stuff!) and bought some domains. I updated the DNS and after 24 hours I didn't see the update in WHOIS information, etc. Now - another day later - no change still. The domain routes to namecheap's standard "This is a new site" page.

I double checked it earlier - most of the time when I've done DNS updates for other things it's taken < 12 hours. I know the expected timeline is up to 48 hours....so....perhaps I'm being impatient.

Anyone else had to wait this long?

****Edit: I swear I thought I had this in the hosting/domains forum. And I'm only on beer 3....

I can have a new domain pointing in a few hours. You screwed it up somewhere.

Did you add it to the host/parking service and set it up there? Maybe namecheap is checking that it really works on the other end?

I'll double check everything in the morning....I did earlier today and it all looked good.

Something has to be messed up, you should see propagation with namecheap pretty quickly.

Run it through www.intodns.com and see what it's telling you.

I checked the config this morning (and I checked last night) and it appears the DNS changes didn't save for whatever reason.

I was doing a multiple-domain edit previously - I went through and did them one at a time today.

I'll wait a few hours and see...I am only doing 5 at a time - I'd be pissed if I was doing large number and it didn't work.

You know the namecheap interface is weird sometimes.

Sometimes it is hard to get things to go. Especially buying new domains.

This is still being a problem - it's super annoying - I have 5 new sites ready to go EXCEPT for the fact that the WHOIS information will not update.

It did update to the correct servers for like an hour - and they are set correctly in Namecheap - but now they've all re-updated to the default/standard name servers at Namecheap.

I have no idea wtf is going but it's annoying the crap out of me.
