Besides the flexibility, money, and working for yourself, what are your reasons? Do you REALLY like affiliate marketing, what was your reason you got into it at first? If you were offered a job today that gave you the same flexibility and money in an area that you're really passionate about, would you take that job (you would need to stop affiliate marketing 100%, no cheating with outsourcing).

Frankly, I've been an affiliate marketer for almost 6 years and have had some success, but I'm getting kind of tired of it. Thoughts?

Yup. I've always been passionate about college sports, particularly football and basketball recruiting. If I had the opportunity to travel around, interview high-school athletes, talk to agency's and all that I'd be hard-pressed to pass it up. I've got a subscription to every recruiting service available and still can't get enough, my buddy's and family think i'm crazy, hell even i do.

Love it (marketing in general, not just affiliate marketing). The high of starting something new and having the first sales pop in is amazing. Only other time I felt this good was back in high school performing onstage with my band.

Can it get tiresome, frustrating, etc.? For sure. But so do all other "jobs". At least with this one you have unlimited earning potential which basically makes your life an empty canvas to fill as you see fit.

I'm forty-two. Done a bunchload of other jobs.

Trust me, if you are successful at AM and still think it sucks, you should kill yourself now.

I love it and it's the best job I've ever had too. Sure when you have times that the money isn't rolling in, you start thinking if you'd be better off in a salary position somewhere. Then you remember all the bullshit that goes along with working for someone else, and AM seems like a damn vacation compared to that corporate crap.

My love is for computers, internet and marketing- All come together perfectly in affiliate marketing. No matter how unstable- never want to get a 'real' job. Ill be pimpin on the streets long before I get a corporate job

I'm not technically a full time "affiliate", more of a copywriter/consultant on products from martial arts to health supplements to biz opps...

But I love what I do. I love the freedom. It's never work. So yeah, I love my job. And affiliate marketing is a big part of it.

New to the forum... hello to everyone!

I've been affiliate marketing for about 6 years now. Feel very lucky to make my own schedule, work out of my home and have lots of freedom! Plus... NO BOSS!

Definitely wouldn't change this job for anything :)

i just started affiliate marketing, but i enjoy learning about it so far.

the whole process of web design, building, seo and getting paid is very intriguing

AM is for Winners.

Not to mention the freedom but, I love my profession its totally kick ass. There's only one thing more rewarding than making hella cake online & that's nailing a random 10 on the way home. = )

I love it! The most effective money making method I found is Affiliate Marketing (and product selling). I am bit newer to Affiliate Marketing but it rocks even at the early stages!
