I really like gmail cos I've set an auto forward on my domains to send all my emails to me@gmail.com
If someone sends an email to scoby@mydomain.com it'll arrive automatically to my gmail inbox
when I click reply, the 'from' field is set to the correct domain

I've got this set up for 6 or 7 domains and only have to log in to one account.

I like this and dislike this feature. It's good because you can manage different email addresses and send email as if it came from another email BUT, if you've noticed, when you are in your gmail account and say you send an email out as me@mydomain.com from your gmail account, the person receiving the email will see the me@mydomain.com email address as the "from" but most email applications that I've seen say something like "this email was sent from me@gmail.com". I don't want anyone knowing my gmail address, and especially don't if I'm sending the mail like it came from one of my domains.

google is now testing something called "gmail for my domain", where they will setup a gmail account for your domain. So ,you now get me@domain.com but with the gmail interface.
Rumour has it that in the future they will offer this as a paid service (which I would gladly pay for)

I've seen a couple rumors and even a couple links to try out the beta form of it, but the links I've seen take you nowhere. I assume maybe at one time they were links. I'd love this and would also pay for it. Wish they would hurry up with it! :eatmousepointer:
