How many people here have gone to college?

i have a bachelors in computer science. If i could do it all over again I would but I would

A) do foreign exchange for at least 1 year
B) start AM like 5 years earlier than I did

I went for a few years and decided it wasn't for me.. best decision I've ever made. once I'm a bit more settled, I'll take night-classes or something that interests me.. I am not going to sit through hours and hours of some douchebag finance professor yelling at me for not getting a question right because I didn't read that week's material.. ughh.

PS, who is the tranny in your avatar?

....You can be witty sometimes - really :P.

I'm assuming you are joking about Margaret Thatcher - every conservative-liberal-anti-femininazi-post 21st-century-womanist-traditional-family-supporting-secular-spiritualist-ethical-capitalist-triple -bottom-line-corporate-philanthropist-woman's hero - LOL

Just wondering how many non-college peeps like myself are on this site..

and if you did go to college, what did you go for?

I go to college. At first I went to college b/c it's what society expects you to do to make a living. Now that I've experienced more I've seen how blind I was and how blind most people are. Since I'm already this far and invested so much time into I might as well finish it. I'm getting a CS degree from UT. If anything, it will make me a better programmer for AM stuff.

I have like zero time for AM though however. I haven't done much in the past 2 years. Then again I'm still making money from old sites.

Enrolled at a community college but never showed up. Lived with 4 of my friends who were going to Gonzaga. Realized quickly that they were paying 20k a year for the privilege of partying just as hard as me, only they had to get up in morning and pretend to be human.

Rich college kids and their drug addictions financed my first two "legitimate" businesses. Sick of it all by age 20 (college girls are just sluttier, drunker versions of high school girls, no more interesting when their pants are on), I bailed for Asia and spent the next 3 years defiling beautiful Scandanavian women and possibly the occasional kratoy.

Regrets? None, should have gotten into all things internet 10 years earlier but that had nothing to do with college.

Where at? did you do any research?

Imperial College London.

Sadly not experimental research, although I think I'd have enjoyed it. I largely tended towards theoretical and did a library project in my final term on Magnetic Refrigeration, which was awesome.

You?

There wasn't any affiliate marketing when I graduated college (1994), so no loss there. Got a degree in Psychology from University of Florida, did pretty much nothing with it. Went to work at the tech guy at a small media info company, worked their for 12 years and quit to do aff. full time.

I'd probably do it again if I could - I always had lots of free time in college anyways so I should have been able to do both.

I've visited plenty of colleges (to play concerts, visit chicks, etc), but I never attended one myself.

However, when I started offering content services on this website some time ago I lied and said I did.

Suckers!!!

I can't believe most of you here at WickedFire aren't repulsed by the thought of College. College is just another business parting the masses from their money. All for a piece of fucking paper? C'mon

Hook 'Em!

I have a Bachelor's in Business from UT, 6 teaching certifications that required some college work and a Masters in Library science.

Personally I find great value in some degrees from some universities, but like all things education - I'm extremely picky. Unlike many of y'all, I actually use my degrees in both the family corp and at school. Within 5 years I'll probably be a librarian in a high school as well - a young, sassy librarian, I might add.
