35,000 or so Twitter.com/MoeBedard . No tricks, just working at it daily. As with anything it takes time and knowledge to learn anything.

Currently about 1500. If your goal is to build a big following I recommend that you follow people in your niche who auto follow. If you want to keep your followers, delete spammers. In fact, try to avoid people who have thousands of posts.
