A little over 60, but only a few making consistent money. Fortunately those few pay for the rest.

The bad thing is I'm addicted to keyword research and buying domains, so I keep building them out one by one.

Since I'm very diligent and only work on one project at a time and I also own my own business (in real life), I only own 4 websites that actually make a decent amount of money ($1k or more per month). This doesn't count the website for my business, which helps bring in about a 60 clients and around $8k/month (my other clients come from other sources of advertising such as the Yellow Pages and other online business directories). If you count websites that don't make me much, we're looking at about two dozen in total. I used to have over a hundred websites, but the workload was just too much so I decided to slim down my portfolio considerably to projects that I thought had a fighting chance of netting a decent amount of profit per month. I had some pretty sweet domains and I sold some of them for several thousand each. Unfortunately I just didn't see them going anywhere so I decided to hand over the keys to someone else.

Still have to learn how to monetize them properly though, maximum was $60 from CB one day, but usually $5-10 per day..

i have 56 domains they are all targeted to my particular industry and geographic region. They all suck and I don`t make squat off of them.

Is it better to have 3-5 site you can focus on with excellent content or have more site targeted to various niche? I know that you can reach more audience when you have multiple site but I fear i won't be able to manage. Which usually make more money? I have 1 site.
