I have one site that gets 50 cents to $1 a day from Adsense ( pure search, not arbitrage ) alone.. that is my only revenue right now. I don't do much work to it at all, but I am getting back into it and changing some things up on it. It is pretty much self run on its own. I spend maybe 5 minutes a day on it at the most. I built my own scraper and rearrange the content it pulls and then display it in a SEO friendly way to outrank the original source on its own content. I really don't even build links to it.. just rely on the content alone to rank itself in Google.
My goal is to make it reach $1 to $2 consistently each day on autopilot. Once that goal is met, I will look into other revenue streams to add onto Adsense ( like intellitext, affiliate programs, arbitrage, etc... ) If I can get the site to $5 a day consistent, then I will build second site related to my first site and build it up the same way.
Hopefully I will end up with several related niche sites making $5 each a day and building them up as a network which can them do me more good and pump traffic into something else. I plan on using separate hosting accounts and networks to connect all of them.
I think the best approach is to build several small related niche sites and grow them one at a time. $5 doesn't sound like much at all, but when combined with 30 other small sites making $5 each, thats $150 a day and that equals $4500 a month. Sure that is still not a fortune, but considering I have a good day job ( a Internet marketing professional and a web developer for an online medical ecommerce company ) and partnerships in other ventures already too, this is extra money to put into something like a house for my kids, college, vacations, etc.
I have been building websites for over 13 years myself, and this is my first time building my own income without relying on a client to pay me for services. I feel lucky as I have been doing web programming work for a long time and doing Internet marketing and PPC which I think will help me in the long run in this new project. I take my knowledge from the medical company I work for ( examples: keyword research data, PPC campaigns, and link partners ) during the day and apply that to my niche site at night ( which is medical related ).
I do feel lucky to have this on my side, it's almost like working during the day and getting paid for it, then reusing the info at night to get paid a second time for it.
I have searched high and low for a place like wickedfire and I am glad I found it.
I would like to give back to this community and become a valued member. If anybody needs help or wants to ask me a question please feel free. I plan on giving out some resources I use and scripts I made by hand to help others here. I am sure nothing I bring up will be new to you guys, but I would like to help out at some point.
