How much do you sleep?

4-14 hours is fairly normal for me. On days that I exercise, which is most of them, I'll get around 6-7 hours. If I'm not active at all I can easily get through the next day on 4 hours sleep. If I absolutely smash myself, or I'm feeling sick, or if I missed the previous night's sleep, I'll do 10-14 hours.

I don't sleep because sleep is the cousin of death - Ryan Eagle.

But for real, melatonin is the shit for falling asleep fast and getting good sleep even when you don't get lots of sleep.

I call bullshit on anyone saying 4 hours regularly. I just don't see how, I'd be the most miserable fuck.

The Army really fucked up my sleep schedule. It's been 4 years since I got out, but I'm sill sleeping very little compared to most people.

a question for those of you sleeping 4-5 hours daily (with or without a nap).. are you into some kind of sports? I mean do you run a mile once a week, or swim, or maybe you do pull-ups or push-ups 3 times a week?

What I've noticed is that when I sleep 4-5 hours a day my strength is going way down, and after a couple pull ups I feel quite bad... That's why I sleep 7-8 daily..

I played some football in college. Now I just go to the gym to keep in decent shape and not get fat.

Now working on my lucid dreaming skills so I can participate in a celebrity gang bang.

I've been trying to force going lucid for the past couple weeks now. Haven't put a ton of effort into it, but so far I'm doing everything the saltcube dvd talks about. I can get my hands and some of my arms and also my feet to become paralyzed, but the rest of my body I can't.

It's really frustrating, but I also drink tons of coffee all day long and spend a lot of time inside on a comp every day.

Maybe you can help me out with some tips because I'd really love to tap into my subconscious and inject some think and grow rich type stuff in there.

Then that night i dreamt i had head lice and fuck man it wasnt even head lice. shit was completely fucked. i was just about to shave my head and body and say fuck it im going skin head but then i awoke and wasnt even hung over.

The easiest (least amount of work) to lucid dream is to use a digital clock for time. Then whenever you look at the digital clock, look away, and then look back at the clock.

If you do this out of habit, eventually you will start to do this in your dreams. And anytime you dream and look at a digital clock, the numbers are random. So when you look at a digital clock in your dream, look away, and then look back, the numbers will be completely different, which will very often trigger a lucid dream.

The biggest problem I have when lucid dreaming is when lucid dreaming (since I'm aware I'm dreaming) I'll often dream I wake up and not realize that I'm still dreaming.

after short period of time melatonin stops working.
alcohol is the rela thing

dont even know how to respond to this. melatonin is produced in your body every day. alcohol prevents you from having rem sleep.

2-4 hours if im extremely busy with a nap in the evening of 2 hours roughly. Otherwise when its a smooth week 6-8 hours unless my other half makes me sleep more...

That's the problem though rarely do I ever even get to the point where I realize I'm dreaming. I'll have random dreams and just barely remember them in the morning.

I need to be able to lay down and force it. Last night I tried a saltcube method where you count as you inhale, and tell yourself you're dreaming when you exhale. I got to the point where I was feeling really strange and weird shakes not just in my body but as if there was an earthquake and my bed was swaying back and forth, but then as soon as I start to think about it and like "oh shit this is cool" and then it fades.

I can also get to the point where I start feeling like I'm sinking in my bed, and last night was able to paralyze my entire body, and I even can achieve the noise effects where it sounds like you are rushing through wind or on a train or something, but I always seem to stay semi-awake and never really fall into an LD at all.

It feels like I'm right there but then something keeps me from transitioning from sleep paralysis to an LD.

Recently I've been sleeping 4 hours at night and then taking 3-4 hour naps mid-day. Not sure how healthy that is, but I been feeling fine..so far.

Light color is laying down but no longer asleep. Of course I don't consciously know that I wake up that many times during sleep.

It's a part of a calorie tracking report from a BodyMedia Fit armband - [ame=http://www.amazon.com/BodyMedia-Weight-Management-Solution-Armband/dp/B0044ZAF0C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311915229&sr=8-1]Amazon.com: BodyMedia FIT Weight Management Solution Armband: Health & Personal Care[/ame]

Here's the full day report - I burn between 1.8 and 2.1 calories per minute while sleeping.
