How much does it cost to get an FB app developed?

I've seen a bunch of them like "What fruit are you" or What 'x' are you?
I have a retail store so I would like an app that decides which product you are. Would that be hard or expensive to do?
 


Hmm how hard would it be to make it popular? I don't use facebook that much, and I've never actually taken one of those quiz things.

Wouldn't you have to get a lot of people to take the quiz so all their friends will see it?

we are always looking for English speaking app developers. Hit me up if you have experience. Money not an issue.
 
If someone with the programming know how wants to make a ton of cash (and saturate facebook apps even further), they should develop an application for marketers to generate simple Facebook quizzes/apps and promote it here (and elsewhere).

Facebook apps require the app to have it's own server to host the app and hold the database information. So if someone would take the time to create such a service they would be required to have the option of hosting also to save a headache for the people buying it. I may just look into creating such a service, but I'd have to buy some dedicated servers. A successful app on it's own may require it's own dedicated server on it's own.

I've never marketed one so I'm not sure. I think their is a way to pay for advertising to have it pop up on the right bar of each page to help push it better. Might be a good idea just to push it on all your friends and let the chain reaction happen. Could spread fast, like wild fire!
