How much HTML knowledge must one have before starting I.M

This guy I know 'maybe me' is asking.

Before he starts I.M how much HTML knowledge does he need to know.
I am no expert so I couldn't give a descent answer.

Could you give a check list of things that he needs to be able to do before he start I.M

Oh, none at all!!

Just copy something from somewhere, paste it in MS Word, click "save as HTML", watch unbelievable amounts of $$$ rolling in while you sleep!

Well, with Wordpress you dont even need to know HTML to run a website. You can build landers all day with no problems whatsoever.

HTML is fucking easy though. And it won't take very long to learn. CSS is a bit more difficult.

BUT, with that said, this is an internet business. How far do you really think you will get if you don't have a basic understanding of the 'techy' things? Im sure there are a lot of people who are successful who dont know HTML/web design, which makes me think they have the ingenuity to get around that (i.e. by using Wordpress), or they pay somebody to make their sites.

If you ask me, I say learn it.

And if you like, PM me and I'll send you links to all the sites/specific videos you need to watch to get up to speed.

Ok I did start learning html from scrach before but got stuck alot and at the time had no real help.

go to nettuts.com and just follow all of their html guides and videos

Just go to W3Schools Online Web Tutorials and read over stuff to get a general idea of what's going on in CMSs like Wordpress. If you need a more personal approach, Sitepoint has some great books on programming.
