Wow... Am I the only ASP programmer left in existence? Everyone's switched over to PHP huh?

Fuck no your not alone, however I advanced over to ASP.NET 2.0 and still know shit about PHP haha its kind of fucked up but the C++ language is all to confusing I mean seriously who needs to put a ; at the end of a line, fuck that shit, VBScript is the shit for ASP.NET 2.0.

Oh yeah, weird C++.. nothing like this could ever happen with a decent language like PHP :Yahoo_29:

Oh thats what you mean. Pretty much all the software I use is open source, I use linux on my desktop at work and at home, osx on the laptop though. I also release as much of my code as I can.

oh and for languages php or ruby. Actually migrating a site from asp.net to ruby as we speak.

I use firefox and thunderbird. I tried linux a few years ago but didn't really like it.

Heh, yeah I need to get in to the Dot-Net era... Old dog, new trick. Someday I'll get around to it, but I can still do most of what I want to using classic ASP.

Oh man I suggest moving onto ASP.NET 2.0 its a dream to work with over classic ASP, things are so much easier to do, more importantly you don't have to screw around so much with ADO.NET for you database connections, they've really cleaned a lot of things up and made a lot of things less time consuming, not to mention the AJAX functionality is amazing.

Well i use Firefox and MySql, not a big programmer though.....hehe. I use open source pretty much.
