It's nowhere near the height you think it is. Think Dallas, Gunsmoke, Desi and Lucy, ER, and Seinfeld, in addition to other powerhouses. Lost is just another dumbass series designed for the mouthbreathers sick of reality television!

Not that it's not OK to enjoy, I just hate the whole financial angle the show was designed around. Cliffhangers belong between seasons, not episodes.

Ironically, Lost is only successful because of shows like Dallas, see "who shot JR".
