Awesome. Two questions:
1. Did you ever think you'd make money from the site or was it more of a joke?
2. How'd you get the original push in publicity? Did you do outreach or did you have some other way of getting the big sites to take notice and write about you (blowjobs, etc...)?
The buyer has made the payment, just waiting on Escrow to deposit into my account.
1) I was expecting traffic but not sales.
2) The press I was after scrape most of their stories from Reddit & Product Hunt so I knew if the website was well received on both platforms than publicity was inevitable.

Question- how did you prime the pump so fast? Even with a great idea like this, it goes nowhere unless you can get traction- what kicked this thing off and got it into orbit so fast/

What's more impressive:
1. Getting lucky and selling one website for $85k.
2. Creating an online store that actually sells something of value and makes $85k a year with potential for growth.
I'll take number 2, but good luck copying number 1 lol. I still can't comprehend the poor bastard's brain that decided to throw away all that money.
Both are impressive and the fact that you think the two mutually exclusive, shows how much you utterly miss the point.
