I'm trying to plan ahead the best I can and was wondering if anyone had advice on how to protect themselves from an Adsense ban or Google penalty once you approach that $100/day mark.

What steps can be taken early on to prevent this from happening? I know there isn't a way to 100% protect yourself but nonetheless I would rather be safe then sorry.

simple. Don't build shitty sites or engage in nefarious linkbuilding activities. Till you can do that there is always a risk.

Based on my knowledge, on page factors will play a much bigger role, because they are factors that you actually have control over. For example, you, the site owner, is the only one who has control over the content on your website. But as far as link building, sure, you can build crappy links to your site, but so can your competitors.

They are both factors for sure, but I'd figure that on page is far more important. All of my sites have great content, and really deliver what the users would want. I do take part in some pretty black hat link building, but have yet to be banned. My account is around 4 years old now.

I believe Google's manual review handbook was leaked a while back. I'll try to find it again and let you know.

That would be awesome if you could find that!

Reasons Why Pakistani Publishers Were Banned (Probably)

1. Spam Site / Spam Blog
2. Made-for-AdSense Websites
3. Fraudulent Clicks

Aside from those obvious another reason would be the manner on how you created that account. If you were accepted to Adsense via use of free for all websites (adsense sharing site) then be very extra careful. That technique has been abused countless of times by people that were banned in adsense before.

I have an abundance of made-for-adsense sites so really I'm looking for a way to spread my earnings across multiple accounts or not shoot any red flags up at all. But if MFAs are a red flag in themselves, then I really am screwed

1. Remove adsense from your shitass sites.
2. Allow adsense to run only your authorized sites.
3. Dont make fradulent clicks from any sort of proxy or vpn.

Are you for real? Of course MFAs are a flag in and of themselves. Bro Im not saying you should start worshiping at the alter of what google says to do.. but if you are going to make them your main source of income it might behoove you to at least familiarize yourself with their terms of service even if you are going to break the rules.

So say I had a photo site with one picture on it per page. Would that raise flags? I read the TOS and I don't see how that's against it, but this thread seems to suggest otherwise.

It's implicitly stated. But if those pictures provide what the user is looking for, you're fine.

take your MFA, add a load of good quality content, perhaps images as well etc and turn them in to quality sites rather than spammy shit ones.. and what everyone else said ^
