How was your first campaign?

I launched my first PPC campaign this week. I have been doing affiliate marketing via SEO for 2+ years though. What a boring/tedious way to make money.
Day 1: I lost money. -58% ROI.
Day 2: I made money. 259% ROI. Made back all my money and then some.
Day 3: 189% ROI. Yeah yeah. Things are looking decent.
Day 4: Traffic stopped. Made no money.
Day 5: I killed the campaign based on gut feel that it cannot be scaled anymore.

I did not spend a single $$$ of my own money to start this business. If any of you newbs need help, feel free to PM me.

since when is running a ppc campaign for 5 days a business? and if you killed the campaign on a gut feeling that you couldn't scale it anymore.. i mean... wait... NONE of what you said makes any sense. why am i even typing this?

ROIShare - I don't know if you know exactly what you are talking about. Saturated niches are saturated for a reason - they make money. I started with Dating, and it was easy as hell for me to get into it and start turning ROI...

I test 3-5 new campaigns a day, they usually lose a bit of money until I get done tweaking. I occasionally hit a good one that turns ROI immediately. Most the time now I work on expanding existing campaigns into new networks, media buys, etc.

Don't be nervous, just fucking do it. Research your niche the best you can and then start testing. Don't spend countless hours looking over forums and blogs. The best education is experience.

Your first campaign is a lot like having sex for the first time. It's awkward your nervous but with practice you could potentially be good at it. Learn from your mistakes, apply what you learn, and persevere.
