i too have verizon and am waiting for blackberry bold to come out for it so I can ditch the old and outdated curve.
at+t is nothing but dropped calls and shitty reception in any major city. iphone fanbois will defend the reception to death because they don't want to admit they're on the worst provider in the country.
verizon destroys pretty much everyone else for good service, although its gay how they cripple their phones...doesn't realy matter how un-crippled your phone is if you get dropped calls all the time (i haven't had a single dropped call in the 3 years ive been on verizon)
so the service is $100/mo?
I figured
voice $39.99 (lowest voice plan)
Data $30
200 texts $5
Total = $74.99 (+ taxes of course)
I don't know exactly but I've heard from my friends who have iPhones with AT&T there is a special iPhone plan that is around $100 that you HAVE to get. You might want to ask to be sure.
i wish i never left verizon for ATT. Reception sucks outside my local area for me, in san fran i had to walk around and find a spot that i could get reception at
Opera on the BB looks great, but its a little slow-going. Not so much page-load time, but more navigation. YMMV, of course.
Why not just go with T-Mo and the G1? T-Mobile is the shit and the G1 should satisfy just about anything you wanted the iPhone for. I have it and other than less-than-stellar battery life it's pretty cool.
Also, the HTC Magic (G2?) should be out soon (if it's not already) but I'm not sure how well it would work on T-Mobile's 3g.

Plus, i think white's a little...ghey. But that's just me.
The Palm Pre is supposed to be out soon as well.
I got someone to lend me an iphone for the night....the ultimate test.
That's cool and all, but...
Who lends their phone out? That just seems really weird to me.
I have a way with women.
